Category Image News Flash From Hell: China Still Communist

In case you've missed it, Chinese authorities, in other words, the communist party in Beijing, has denied a planned port of call for the U.S.S. Kitty Hawk task group in Hong Kong. The visit was obviously long planned, as many family members flew to Hong Kong to spend Thanksgiving with their loved ones.

We in Hell have news for the White House and Pentagon, Hong Kong has been ruled by the communists in Beijing since 1997. It might be a special administrative region, but it is a special administrative region controlled by a hostile regime.

Here's another news flash for Washington, even friendly communists nations, are by definition, enemies of the United States. The Chinese might have some liberalized economic zones, but much of the economy is still planned. And despite the best hopes, and even We in Hell had thought so, that China's flirtation with capitalism would undermine the communist regime, it just hasn't happened.

China is still a communist, totalitarian country and by extension, so is Hong Kong.

So once again, We ask, what in the Hell is an American carrier making a port of call in Hong Kong? Not only has this short-sighted thinking inconvenienced our sailors and their families on Thanksgiving, it makes no economic sense. Why should our sailors spend their dollars in Hong Kong, which ultimately support the anti-democratic, militaristic, and mercantilist government in Beijing.

We know we've already exported half of our economic base to China, but do we have to be complete idiots?

The less American dollars that enter China, the safer the United States becomes. It is time to start treating China as the enemy that it is.

If the Bush Administration had any nerve, it would refuse about 50 Chinese container ships entry to our ports. You know, sovereign nations used to do that sort of thing when insulted.... But when you are addicted to cheap imports.....
