Voinovich Update:  Votes for Cloture on Amnesty Bill 

Both Ohio Senators, Voinovich and Brown, voted for cloture on the "Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2007."  As for Brown, Satan would expect nothing less from a far left leaning neo-communist, opps I mean Democrat.  But one would hope, that Republican, like Voinovich, would once in a great while, actually vote to please the people who sent him to Washington in the first place.

Senator Voinovich, pleasing the left will not get you votes.  It will not get you reelected.  Even if you vote with the left, they are not the ones who will send you back to Congress.  It is the conservative base that will determine your future.  And considering that you act like a Democrat, your future is happily looking rather bleak, politically speaking.

Here is how the Senate voted on cloture regarding the Kennedy-Bush Amnesty bill:

The usual weak willed Republicans, Graham, Hagel, Lugar, Martinez, McCain, Specter, and Voinovich joined forces with those who would legalize 12 million people who have broken our laws and put a strain on our social safety net.

Mr. Voinovich, we in Hell will give you some advice as to what most Americans want when it comes to immigration legislation:

• We want the border protected.  Build fences, hire agents, but do something that stops hordes of aliens from invading our nation.

• We want zero tolerance for individuals and businesses who hire illegal aliens.

• We want government welfare for people here illegally suspended immediately.

• We don't want to hear that it is impossible to send back 12 million people.  Baloney!  If 12 million people can cross the border in a northern direction, then 12 million people can cross the border in a southerly direction.  How do we make that happen?  See the points above.  If illegal aliens are deprived of jobs and deprived of government largess, they will have no choice but to go back home.  Simply put, they will return, over time, home, on their own.

Mr. Voinovich, you are not a conservative.  You certainly don't act like a Republican either.  You are simply a leftist who resides in the wrong party.  If you decide to run again, you've lost my vote and hopefully the votes of everyone to whom this information is passed on to.
