Global Warming Alert: China to Surpass Evil U.S. as World's Largest Polluter
Satan wants to ask the global warming zealots a question. Do you plan on taking your road show to China? Just wonder, as it seems China will surpass the source of all evil (and you thought that was me), the United States of America, as the world's largest polluter. Gasp! The eco-friendly godless communists are killing the planet. Why, how can it be that your fellow ideologues are destroying the world? Aren't all third world nations green?
Satan would also like to point out a salient fact to all those who worship the false god of global warming. The GDP of the evil imperialist, baby killing fascists of the United States is almost $12.5 trillion, while the peace loving, tree hugging Chinese GDP is around $2.4 trillion.
Roughly, that means the planet killing capitalists in the U.S. are producing 5.2 times more in goods and services the eco-commies in Beijing. So in other words, (for the Berkeley crowd), the Chinese, who produce 5.2 times less in goods and services than the U.S. will produce more pollution than the U.S. does.
Satan might be going out on a limb here, but doesn't that mean that the U.S. is a more efficient producer of goods as we obviously pollute no more than the Chinese, even though our economy is over 5 times its size?
To reduce global warming, the gorbalites and other hollywood hypocrites need to start with the inefficiencies found in the Chinese economy. Hmm, wonder how much the Greens of the European Union pollute?
You can read the story here:
China will pass the United States as the world's biggest source of greenhouse gasses this year, an official with the International Energy Agency was quoted as saying.
China had been forecast to surpass the U.S. in 2010, but its sizzling economic growth has pushed the date forward, the IEA's chief economist, Fatih Birol, was quoted as saying in an interview appearing in Tuesday's Wall Street Journal newspaper.
"In the past couple of months, economic growth and related coal consumption has grown at such an unexpected rate," Birol was quoted as saying. China's rising emissions will effectively cancel out attempts by other countries to reduce their own, he said.
Those comments follow the weekend release of a Chinese government report detailing the costs of climate change but asserting that the country should focus on development before cutting greenhouse gas emissions.
Higher than average temperatures meant spreading deserts, worsening droughts, shrinking glaciers and increased spread of diseases, said the report, compiled by more than a dozen government bodies. It said emission limits were unfair and would constrain China's current energy and manufacturing industries.
China is a signatory to the Kyoto Protocol on reducing greenhouse gasses, but is exempt from its restrictions because it is a developing country.
