 Or You Need to See to Drive

Satan isn't used to having snow in Hell, but this story caused an unexpected blizzard.

The police in largely Muslim Zanzibar have banned women from driving while wearing the face veil known as a niqab, saying it has caused accidents. “Their vision is not accurate,” said the region’s police commander, Bakati Khatib.

Satan really doesn't expect such things out of this 9th century religion.  We quite frankly would have figure the Tanzanians would have been more progressive and just banned women from driving like Saudi Arabia.  But to say religious customs have to give way to safety, common sense, and the need to see, was enough to make it snow down here.
