Mission
The Virtuous Republic will comment of course on politics,
international, national, and regional, but as the ancient Greeks knew,
a well rounded citizen takes an interest in the arts, sports,
technology, and the world around him.
About the Authors
1. the Machiavellian looks at politics as a vessel to
control, shape, repress, and yes, even improve people. The end of
a Republic is to limit the destructiveness of human nature and push him
towards virtue.
2. the Lockean believes that people are rational and naturally
good and government should be limited so that man can achieve great
things.
3. Satan. Who better than the devil to comment upon issues such as good and bad, human nature, and virtue.
About me
I have an undergraduate degree in geography and international
affairs and a master's degree in political science, with emphasis on
Canadian affairs and American political theory. Would you like fries with that comment?
