Get a load of this left wing nut’s seething hatred of America:
Put the fireworks in storage.
Cancel the parade.
Tuck the soaring speeches in a drawer for another time.
This year, America doesn’t deserve to celebrate its birthday. This Fourth of July should be a day of quiet and atonement.
For we have sinned.
We have failed to pay attention. We’ve settled for lame excuses. We’ve spit on the memory of those who did that brave, brave thing in Philadelphia 232 years ago.
The America those men founded should never torture a prisoner.
The America they founded should never imprison people for years without charge or hearing.
The America they founded should never ship prisoners to foreign lands, knowing their new jailers might torture them.
Such abuses once were committed by the arrogant crowns of Europe, spawning rebellion.
Today, our nation does such things in the name of our safety. Petrified, unwilling to take the risks that love of liberty demands, we close our eyes.
First, water boarding isn’t torture.
Second, these Muslim terrorists you speak so highly of, are not uniformed soldiers, but more akin to spies and thus they are treated as such.
Third, these Muslim terrorists are not America citizens, they were not captured on American soil, and their crimes are nothing that a criminal justice system is suited to try. Their actions were acts of war. They are not entitled to or worthy of the protection of American jurisprudence.
What they are worthy of is death on the battlefield or a certainty of life in military prison under the oppressive heal of an angry American nation.
What part don’t you get? These bastards want to kill you and destroy our nation…. Oh, wait, that is right, you hate this country. What do you care if it is attacked!
My friends, this is another perfect example of the left’s blatant hatred of their country.
They care more about the men who have fought against this country than they do about this country.
They hate our constitution. And they hate all the things that symbolize our political heritage. And not only do they hate our nation, they are now actively working to undermine it.
The left is so effeminate, that it has lost the will to live. The left believes in nothing and certainly isn’t willing to defend anything. All cultures are the same. All morality is relative. Thet care for nothing.
Obviously, they lack the courage and backbone to defend this nation. Thus, it brings us back to their aversion to acts of patriotism and symbols of patriotism.
They can’t understand them. They can’t understand that people love their nation. And they certainly can’t understand how one could be willing to use military force to defend an entity they despise.

I fail to understand how it is that people who are willing to invoke the actions of our founders 232 years ago so willingly choose to misunderstand the reasons behind the drafting of our Constitution. The Confederacy that came out of the Revolution was weak and unable to defend itself. The thirteen sovereign States it was composed of were unable to even agree to pay for their own mutual defense.
Thus it was that the Constitutional Convention was called and met. Thus it was that one of the primary powers of Congress was to raise armies (Article 1 section 8), and to declare and fund war. Today the left wants to gut our defenses and spits upon our soldiers. Today the left demands that we release enemy combatants, but abhors the idea that we might release them to their native lands where they “might be tortured” — apparently they want us to release murderes and killers into our own streets in the name of humanity.
It truly is hatred for their own country that motivates them. And it’s pathetic.
