Of course, we here at The Virtuous Republic, are mean, reactionary, ultra-conservatives who believe that government has a role in promoting virtue and morality in its citizenry. No society can succeed if it is populated by leftists and their religion of moral equivalence.
That being said, not only do true conservatives demand virtue and moral behavior from its citizens, we expect our government to be limited in its scope and to have no ability to affect the God given rights of life, liberty, and property.
Earlier this year in Columbus, Ohio, law enforcement betrayed its duty to God, the Constitution, and the people. Apparently the drug trade, murder, rape, burglary, and all other manner of crime has been obliterated, because the Columbus police force has turned its sights on inducing its citizens to commit immoral acts using prurient means.
In a city park, the Columbus police employed a topless, thin, young woman to entice males to commit acts of public indeceny.
Robin Garrison, an off-duty 42-year-old firefighter, was walking in Berliner Park in Columbus, Ohio, in May when he saw a woman sunbathing topless under a tree.
He approached her and they started talking and getting comfortable, the woman smiling and resting her foot on his shoulder at one point.
Eventually, she asked to see Garrison’s penis; he unzipped his pants and complied.
Seconds later, undercover police officers pulled up in a van and arrested Garrison; he was later charged with public indecency, a misdemeanor, based on video footage taken by cops who were targeting men having sex or masturbating in the park. While topless sunbathing is legal in the city’s parks, exposing more than that is against the law. Read more….
So make sure you understand this, this attractive woman was half naked. And as you
watch the video found at ABC, you will note that she was not only topless, but she acted rather suggestively with the firefighter, spreading her legs in front of him, laying on her back spread eagle and ultimately propping her leg on his shoulder. And she was the one who asked to see his penis.
No doubt that the firefighter should have walked away, but what normal man wouldn’t be enticed by such a display?
Not only did the police entice this man to commit a crime, they used immoral means to do so.
Unfortunately, a jury in Columbus made a poor decision and convicted this man of several crimes. Ultimately, we here at The Virtuous Republic believe his conviction will be overturned.
The bottom line, is this what you expect from your law enforcement agencies? Do you expect them to employ a female to sunbath topless? Do you want them to have her act like a stripper giving a lap dance?
If you say so what, then what is your weakness and why shouldn’t government test your virtuousness and create a criminal where none existed before.
Bad government and bad laws make criminals of us all and when that happens, there are no free citizens and one is left with an omnipotent government.
