Here’s just two things from Obama’s health care plan that should clue you in to how bad it will be if enacted.
First, government run health care is now considered a “tax cut”. Not really, as you can see in bold, this is just another government handout. Call it health care welfare. Most of us (which means less money in our pockets) will be paying for the health care of others.
I didn’t realize, that in a free society, that I have to work so others can skate by. Once again, Obama turns to Marx instead of Smith.
Title XI
The Act makes health care more affordable for families and small business owners by providing the largest middle class tax cuts for health care in American history. Tens of millions of families will benefit from new tax credits which will help them reduce their premium costs and purchase insurance. Families making less than $250,000 will see their taxes cut by hundreds of billions of dollars.
When enacted, health reform is completely paid for and will reduce the deficit by more than one hundred billion dollars in the next ten years.
That’s right, health care will be a government subsidize program under Obama Care.
Now, let’s correlate this new government program, that will help people pay for their insurance, with this statement from Obama’s new plan:
It puts our budget and economy on a more stable path by reducing the deficit by $100 billion over the next ten years – and about $1 trillion over the second decade – by cutting government overspending and reining in waste, fraud and abuse.
So we are going to subsidize millions of health care plans, in other words, we as a nation will create another government bureaucracy, and this will somehow lower the deficit! Oh wait, if you read the fine print, it will reduce the deficit by $10 billion a year. We just ran a $1.12 trillion deficit last year. The audacity of this big lie is almost laughable—if the far left wasn’t so serious.
You can read the rest of Obama’s new/old plan here.
Maybe Obama just should have submitted this as his plan:
Every citizen will be a public man, sustained by, supported by, and occupied at the public expense.–Morelly, French Communist
