I don’t know if you read this press release from NASA’s discredited (or should I say discredited leaders) GISS:
2009 was tied for the second warmest year in the modern record, a new NASA analysis of global surface temperature shows. The analysis, conducted by the Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) in New York City, also shows that in the Southern Hemisphere, 2009 was the warmest year since modern records began in 1880.
Now of course, when a glacier melts, it is climate. When Europe had their heat spell a few years back, it was climate, but when 3.8 million square miles of land undergoes a undeniably cooler temperature trend, Jim Hansen of NASA says this:
“Of course, the contiguous 48 states cover only 1.5 percent of the world area, so the U.S. temperature does not affect the global temperature much,’ said Hansen.
In other words, never mind the fact the U.S. has the most extensive weather gather apparatus on the planet. Never mind that cooler temperatures in America contradict our global warming model. Just ignore half of a continent. That’s only weather.
Let’s just call bullshit on this bad science and be done with it. Everything little blip in the weather points to global warming, and when it doesn’t, just ignore it. That is simply BULLSHIT thinking, but typical of far left politics. JESUS H CHRIST, did all these “scientists” go to Marxist U?

Intellectual dishonesty is almost a prerequisite for government work anymore.
The reason for the “hottest year in the southern hemisphere!!!!11!” is that they’ve eliminated all the cold theremometers (like in the Andes) and extrapolate the temperature in Peru from thermometers in the Amazon.
Chiefio has been all over this.
When I wrote this post I was infuriated.
