Open borders equals open season on America’s citizens. By allowing criminal aliens into our midst, our government is not living up to the preamble of our Constitution:
We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
Each instance, in which a criminal alien deprives an American citizen of life, liberty, or property, our government fails in its most basic functions. The left and the right are more concerned if you smoke, or if you are ingesting fatty acids, or eating runny yokes, or wearing a seatbelt, or having your child in a car seat…..
But one thing our elites aren’t concerned about is the wave of crime committed by illegal aliens against American citizens. If our elites say one death from smoking, drunk driving, or failure to use a seatbelt is one too many, then it is not racist, xenophobic, or unreasonable to argue that one death caused an illegal alien is one death too many. Death by alien, rape by alien, theft by alien, are 100% preventable crimes.
This crime is a few years old, but once again exemplifies another death that should not have happened:
The state Court of Appeals on Tuesday rejected the appeal of an illegal immigrant who killed a woman in a drunken-driving accident in Columbus County in 2004.
The immigrant, Jose Jesus Garcia Lopez of Mexico, was convicted in 2006 of involuntary manslaughter, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, felony hit and run, and felony death by vehicle. He is in prison on a sentence of at least four years, 11 months, to at most six years, nine months.
Lopez had been charged with second-degree murder.
The prosecutor said Lopez, who was living in Nakina, was drunk and driving his car from 80 mph to 100 mph on N.C. 904 when he crossed the center line and hit another car head-on. The wreck killed 20-year-old Natalie Renee Housand of Tabor City, who was driving the other car. It injured her boyfriend, a man in a third car, and Lopez’s brother, who was a passenger in Lopez’s vehicle. Read more….
Another death by drunk illegal alien:
A Howard County judge has rejected the plea agreement of an illegal immigrant accused in a fatal drunk-driving crash.
Judge Lenore Gelfman on Thursday expressed her unhappiness with the agreement sentencing Eduardo Morales-Soriano to eight years in prison, with deportation immediately upon release.The judge apparently felt the eight years wasn’t enough.
Soriano pleaded guilty last December to two counts of negligent vehicular manslaughter in the crash that killed Marine Cpl. Brian Mathews and Jennifer Bower, 24, in Columbia. Read more….
A tragic death of a child by a drunk (charged, not convicted) illegal immigrant:
A man accused of killing 11-year-old Milpitas resident Lily Ngo in a drunken-driving car accident continues to wait for arraignment in Houston.
On Jan. 8, Alejandro Sandoval, currently facing charges of intoxicated manslaughter with a vehicle, had his court date postponed to Jan. 30. The postponement was made so that Sandoval could hire an attorney.
Sandoval, a 26-year-old illegal immigrant, is currently being held without bail at the Harris County Jail, near Houston.
The charges against Sandoval stem from a Dec. 22 car accident which resulted in the death of Lily Ngo, who was a student at Pearl Zanker Elementary School on vacation visiting relatives. Read more….
