In Dayton, Ohio, Obama spent most of his speech criticizing McCain on education.

At the same time he called for an end to partisan bickering over education, Obama accused Republican rival John McCain of failing to do anything to improve the quality of public education during nearly three decades in Washington. “Not one real proposal or law or initiative. Just one little thing, education has been and still is, a locally controlled institution.  At best, the Federal government’s role is peripheral.  And maybe that sums up Obama’s plan for America.
