Illegal Alien Convicted of Murdering Three Men

A previously deported illegal alien was found guilty on October 10, 2015 for the murder of three men. Not only do I have a problem with a previously deported alien committing murder, I find horrendous that a business would make him manager, even though it was fairly obviously he wasn’t a citizen.

“Three men suffered not only the terror of being kidnapped but a long drive down the freeway, bound with plastic ties while crouching on the floor of a truck, surely knowing they were being transported to their deaths,” they continued. “The killings themselves were, in a word, executions.”

They were discovered by a worker at Rainier Nursery, a tree farm located just south of the Kent city limits. Barbosa would later describe it as “literally the perfect place to kill somebody.” Quezada-Ortiz had been buried, while the other two men were left exposed to the elements.

Investigators determined each of the men had been shot in the head. Evidence that they’d been restrained when they were killed was also found; Quezada-Ortiz’s hands were still bound with a plastic tie.

Scouring the Lakewood home Avila-Cardenas shared with his wife, investigators discovered a 9 mm pistol in his garage. Cristian Rangel’s blood was found inside the barrel. Shell casings found at the nursery matched the gun seized from Avila-Cardenas’ home. A painstaking investigation also revealed Avila-Cardenas bought the same brand of plastic ties at a Lakewood Lowe’s hardware store shortly before the killings.

Avila-Cardenas had been arrested two weeks after the disappearances. A series of allegations were brought against him, apparently to keep him in custody as the investigation continued. He was ultimately placed in a federal immigration detention facility on allegations that he was in the United States illegally after having been deported once before.  Read more….
