Previously Deported Illegal Alien Arrested for Battery

An illegal alien, previously deported 5 times, was found again to be in the United States after being arrested for battery.

MADISON, Wis. — A previously deported Mexican national was sentenced Wednesday to six months in federal prison for illegally re-entering the United States.

This sentence resulted from an investigation conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO).

Antonio Silva-Menesis, 35, who was residing in Eau Claire, Wis., was sentenced Jan. 29 by U.S. District Judge Barbara B. Crabb, Western District of Wisconsin, for illegally re-entering the United States after having been deported. He pleaded guilty to the charge Nov. 19, 2013.

Silva-Menesis was previously removed from the United States on five previous occasions, the last time being in December 2012. ICE became aware Silva-Menesis was back in the United States following his arrest for felony substantial battery in Eau Claire County May 6, 2013.

Previously deported five times?  Great to know that our border is guarded so well.

While you get patted down or nearly stripped searched at the airport, dangerous criminal aliens cross our border with impunity and our government only acts after a citizen is injured, raped, or murdered.

Amnesty?  Does amnesty include a background check on every illegal immigrant?  You know it doesn’t.  Does amnesty require illegal aliens receive all necessary vaccines?  You know it doesn’t.  Does amnesty require illegal aliens to have a certain level of education?  You know it doesn’t.  Does amnesty bar illegal aliens for applying for or using welfare services for X number of years?  You know it doesn’t.  Does amnesty require that our southern border be secured.  You know it doesn’t.

Amnesty is just an insane policy.  Our current border policies our insane.  The only sane policy is to secure our border and send back the millions of criminals that live among us.  Then and only then, after they have been vetted and barred from using welfare for 10 years, 50,000 illegal aliens could given citizenship.

Considering that most illegals will not want citizenship with those requirements, self-deportation would take effect and we would be left with the cream and the dregs.

That might be a harsh assessment, but truth often isn’t pretty or convenient.
