Convicted Murder Slips Across Border, Deals Drugs

But don’t worry, things like this will never happen again if only we have “immigration reform.”

A convicted murderer is back behind bars after Border Patrol agents caught him smuggling drugs in the Southmost area of Brownsville.

It all happened off Florida and Oklahoma Roads in the Southmost area of Brownsville late Tuesday night.

U.S. Border Patrol agents spotted several men smuggling drugs in the area but were only able to catch three of them.

Authorities seized more than 179 pounds of marijuana at the scene.

One the three men arrested was identified as 46-year-old Hilario Hernandez-Muñoz.

Court records show that Hernandez-Muñoz was convicted of murder in Cameron County back in January 1994.

Hernandez-Muñoz finished serving his sentence and was deported from the United States back in September 2011.  Read more….

Secure the border and then, sift through those who are here illegally.  Determine their backgrounds and then and only then should there be “reform.”  As of this moment though, we have no idea of the character or intents of those in our nation illegally.

Is that a sane or safe policy?
