Ohio: Romney 49%, Obama 49%

Presidential: Rasmussen.

A bit of good news, it seems Josh Mandel has pulled into a tie with Sherrod Brown, 48%-48%.

My take on Ohio, since I live here is that it will go Romney and Mandel.  Why?  In 2010, Republicans ran the board statewide.  Under Gov. Kaisich, Ohio’s economy has improved and Obama’s policies toward fracking and coal, in a sane world, just can’t play well in a state that does a lot both.

Plus, anecdotally, I drove across the state last week and Romney signs outnumbered Obama signs 20 to 1, plus there were numerous billboards reminding voters of Obama’s war on coal.

God I hope I’m right.
